Overview
A circa 1790 Dutch colonial home in S. Eastern Ct., the key to all of New England.
The home is the former residence of Asa Fitch, of Fitchville, and now is owned and operated by Warren and Nora Strong as a Vineyard and B&B.
With more than 6000 sq ft. of Inn to relax in, and acres of vineyard to survey, the four country comfortable rooms are the ideal base for the newly weds, business traveler, or those wishing a long awaited get a way.
All rooms are 13X25 ft, has have ensuite bath,tel,tv,fireplace,ac,ceiling fan, and provide an excellent view of the vineyard and New England Country side through their 4 large windows.
A B&B with out a good breakfast is no bargain, so we proudly serve what has been repeated over and over again as "thats the best breakfast I have ever had". A vineyard breakfast served in the sun room contains, fresh fruit,morning baked pastry,eggs, a meat (bacon,ham,sausage),cottage potatoes, and either a pancake,stuffed french or croissont toast. Also your choice of coffee, specialty tea's and a suitable breakfast wine are standard fare.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
