Located in the gold rush town of Groveland, the Hotel Charlotte, a 10 room bed & breakfast hotel on the National Register of Historic Places, is home to Café Charlotte, a full service restaurant & bar. Nearby is an airport, golf course and equestrian center at Pine Mountain Lake. Whitewater river rafting is popular on this stretch of the Tuolumne River and we are just 24 miles from Yosemite National Park on scenic Highway 120.

The Hotel Charlotte is centrally located in Downtown Groveland, the last town before Yosemite on Highway 120. We are near the museum, library, nursery, shopping and saloon with Kareoke on Thursdays and live bands on the weekends.



Groveland, on Highway 120 is 7 miles from the Tuolumne River whitewater rafting meeting point of Casa Loma, 24 miles from Yosemite and with in day trip fun of Jamestown with it's historic 1897 railroad park, Columbia which is a restored 1849 goldmining town, Murphys the other wine county and antiquing up and down the Highway 49 gold country route.



We are within 3 hours of San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento and Fresno airports.
