The Woodsy Bear is centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Access to all the ski areas, lake, beaches and shopping is within minutes. Lake Tahoe beaches are a few minutes away for a refreshing swim, boating, kayaking, or picnicking. Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort is the closest ski resort (5 minutes away) for skiing, mountain biking and golf. This vacation home is central to the other 4 major resorts on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, all about 15 to 20 minutes away: Mount Rose Ski Area, Diamond Peak Ski Area, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley.
