Overview
A mid-century modern glass house that is perfect for a couple who want privacy and a hip, cultural holiday vacation in Los Angeles. Centrally located off Mulholland Drive, this architectural masterpiece has floor to ceiling glass walls on 3 sides, a radical "paraboloid roof", and has been featured in Vogue Living, Elle Decor UK and Modernism magazines. Its private 40 foot deck and patio is surrounded by a greenbelt canyon with stunning views of the city and mountains. Lounging and dining on the deck are a must! Inside, approximately 2000 square feet of vibrant, light-filled living space has period designer furniture and includes a large seating area in the living room, double-sided fireplace, and a Saarinen dining table for 10. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed, a wall of glass, private deck with seating, and a large, airy spa-inspired bathroom with a tiled-deck bath and shower. The open kitchen has Thermador oven and stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water, coffeemaker, small appliances, and fully equipped with plates, utensils, etc. Other house amenities include GE washer and dryer, Central air conditioning, Wifi, television in master bedroom with cable, iPod sound dock, indoor and outdoor speakers, Weber charcoal grill, telephone with unlimited local service and plenty of unrestricted street parking. The house is very centrally located to the Getty Museum, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica beach and other points of interest.
