It's location at the center of Mobile Bay's popular Eastern Shore area offers convenience to shopping, dining, beaches, museums, historic sites, movie and live theaters, concerts, and just plain relaxing. It is also about equal distance between the Mobile, Ala., and Pensacola, Fla., airports, so those guests flying have more options for finding the best travel deals.

All our guest rooms have desks with adjacent DSL connection, luxury robes and slippers, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, sewing kit, shoe polishing sponge, hairspray, body lotion, and body and glycerine soaps. All upstairs rooms have balconies and fire escape ladders adapted to work on the balcony railing. (One room is at ground level with a private entrance.) Only two rooms share a bath, but they are part of a two-bedroom suite with a private living room, so no guests are expected to share with folks they don't know. The 10-acre grounds are tucked back off Scenic U.S. 98 (Main Street) and features a large spring-fed pond, gazebo, hammock, and benches overlooking the pond. The inn has a meandering floor plan, providing for two large living rooms and dining room first-floor common areas, and a huge deck. There is even a self-service room on the second floor where guests can help themselves to a cold soda, juice or bottled water, brew their own coffee, tea or hot chocolate, find information on restaurants and things to do in the area, or borrow a video to watch in their room or the great room downstairs. The inn is designed with guests' comfort in mind with the ultimate goal of all feeling that they have found a unique home away from home.
