You will find the best of both worlds at La Casa de los Patios. We offer the beautifully restored ancestral home of our family with its many patios. In the true sense of Mexican hospitality, "our home is your home", giving you the feeling of more than a hotel, a glimpse into a historic hacienda in Mexico.

At the same time you will have full services at your disposal including a beautiful garden
patio/pool area, meeting room facilities and full service restaurant. It's worth coming just for the breakfast, watching the tortillas being made in front of you while sipping organic coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.

We are available and eager to help you find the hidden corners of this beautiful mountain area of Mexico. Meet Don Jose, and have him show you his knife making skills that are known around the world. Candy more your style? We'll point you in the direction of Dona Theresa's homemade candy kitchen and shop. Massages and herbal healing can be arranged with a local holistic specialist or traditional "curandero". Sayula , in central Mexico, is a town of beautiful plazas and exceptionally beautiful colonial
buildings. The surrounding mountains offer miles of hiking or horseback riding paths. We are within 45 minutes of Tapalpa, with its golf course and adventure sports. We can arrange a guide or help you design your own excursions. Try our cultural tours or sampler adventure vacations with our sister haciendas in the associations of Historic Hacienda Inns of Jalisco.The climate is perfect all year round, cool at night and warm at midday.
