Villa Ixtapa is located:

- on the Mexican Riviera, Pacific coast of Mexico, 160 miles (258 kilometers) north of Acapulco on highway Mex. 200.

- less than 20 miles from the airport of Ixtapa/Zihautanejo.

- less than 8 miles from the entrance of Zihuatanejo.

From the airport, take highway 200 north towards Lazaro Cardenas, Zihuatanejo, Ixtapa. When you get to Zihuatanejo, pass the first traffic lights and stay in the right lane. At the huge run about that leads to the downtown of Zihautanejo, keep driving towards the direction of Ixtapa / Lazaro-Cardenas, towards the right. You'll encounter the second traffic lights; on the right hand side is a gas station. Keep going straight; you'll soon be out of Zihuatanejo. The 4 lane highway goes up the hill.

At the top of the hill, stay in the left lane and go towards Ixtapa Zona Hotelera. Leave on your right hand the highway 200 towards Lazaro Cardenas. This scenic road has an enjoyable view onto Ixtapa.

Shortly after passing over a speed bump, you'll encounter a run about with a fountain. The fountain being on the left side, take a right on the street "Paseo de las Golondrinas".
Keep going straight on "Paseo de las Golondrinas":
you'll pass over 3 distant speed bumps. Villa Ixtapa is on your left hand side at #184.
