Overview

CASA OLIVIA ... is a two bedroom, two and half bathroom, rental property with pool & gardens on the Island of Cozumel. It is not just a "bare bones" vacation rental property ... it is the place we call home when we visit Cozumel and so has all modern conveniences, and then some. It offers you much more than an average vacation rental.
Location

We are located in the popular Corpus Christi area, on Av 25 just around the corner from the church and only a few blocks from Chedraui, the main supermarket on the island.

Casa Olivia offers two separate accommodations for guests, each with full air conditioning, internet access, cable tv, dvd etc.

The main house offers:
• a spacious 30ft x 13 ft bedroom with king sized bed and spare sofa couch
• a bathroom with bath and walk in shower
• fully equipped kitchen
• spacious living area
• separate downstair toilet

The studio offers:
• living area
• kitchenette with microwave, large fridge, coffee maker
• loft bedroom with two single beds (can be made up as king)
• bathroom with walk in shower

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
