Review - La Paloma Bed and Breakfast

The Best Night Ever

As we jumped off the bus from Guadalajara and onto the stone streets of Ajijic my wife, Kathy (my tour guide) popped into Hernendez Realty Group. There we met Don Wright who was very helpful in guiding us to the most beautiful B&B, "La Paloma" which is run my a most gracious and charming woman, Carol.

Our souls were a bit weary from the past two weeks of traveling and some most uncomfortable beds and noisy sleeping conditions. As we entered the front gate to La Paloma we were greeted with lush flowering plants, a large and very clean pool, a building so fitting it's environment we knew instantly that we were home.

From the most comfortable bed to the orange and avocado trees, the original local art all around, to a morning breakfast, of fruit over a light pudding type syrup atop a moist cake, sausage, hard boiled eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, toast, and interesting conversation.

The best 48 hours of our trip so far.
