Overview

The guest house is close to the main house but privacy is assured. There are many attractions in the area, flea markets, great restaurants, the village is within walking distance, there are golf courses, mountain hiking, tennis boating etc. all on your doorstep. The house is completely equipped with culinary details and the bedrooms have the best linen, armoires filled with books, a heated inground pool to share, your own yard, deck, gas bar-b-q. etc. A wonderful holiday experience - stone fireplace with lots of wood, DVD player, satelite dish, shower and tub, a pure delight!!

Location & area

We are situated 45 minutes from downtown Montreal and one hour to Ottawa. We are located on a river with a mountain nearby. There are two areas of recreation, the Laurentian mountains - l hour away - and the Eastern Townships - also one hour away. There are ferries to take you to pristine beaches (i.e. Oka) and there are goat farms that sell their products in the area and fabulous bistros, summer theater, flea markets etc.

All in all, a lot to do in a very short time. The property itself is made for leisure - ceiling fans for warm evenings, air conditioning for hot ones, a heated inground pool, gas bar-b-q, gardens, birds, privacy and lots of active things to do in the immediate area.
