Overview
The Homewood Inn has been in operation since 1990. The Inn offers rooms with shared bathrooms and private bathrooms in a renovated Victorian home located on a quiet residential street in the heart of downtown Toronto. We are within walking distance to all major conveniences such as transportation, theatres, restaurants, popular tourist destinations (CN Tower, Harbourfront, Chinatown, Distillery, etc.) and shopping areas (Eaton Centre and Yorkville).
The Inn is a favorite for visitors from Europe, Asia, the US and from other cities and towns across Canada. Many stay at the Inn while in town on vacation, attending festivals or for business. We also work in conjunction with the hospitals and clinics in the city's core offering temporary housing for families while visiting loved ones.
The Inn offers an affordable alternative to more expensive downtown Toronto hotel accommodations. Rates start at $65.00 for a single and $75.00 for a double (shared bathroom) plus applicable taxes. Two guests can enjoy their stay in Toronto for as little as $37.50 (plus tax) each a night. Self-contained suite rates start at $95.00 (private bathroom) plus applicable taxes.
Also, included with your stay is a full breakfast served in our dining room, housekeeping services and free on-site parking. A great value for budget conscious travelers coming into the city.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
