Overview
Silver Lake Cottage Resort has a reputation for warm hospitality, friendly service and a pristine location. We are located on the edge of Muskoka reputed to be one of the most beautiful areas in Canada. The entire resort is located on a gently sloping terrain with beautifully treed surroundings and is the only resort on the quiet shore of Silver Lake. Relax in the privacy of your own cottage overlooking the lake. Choose from a variety of styles to meet your every need, from cozy 1 bedroom to spacious 4 bedroom, rustic chalet to modern. Each cottage has private parking, decks, picnic tables, gas BBQ;s, fully equipped kitchen, tv's, vcr's and some have propane fireplaces& satellite tv. Enjoy our safe sand beach with roped off swimming area, children's playground, volleyball, badminton, basketball, horseshoes - nightly central campfire. Explore Silver Lake in one of our canoes, kayaks or paddleboats. Rent a boat and motor and fish for small and largemouth bass or lake trout or hike the Seguin or Park-to-Park Trail systems. Cruise the 30,000 Islands, take a scenic tour by floatplane or helicopter or visit the Bobby Orr Museum and Museum on Tower Hill. Enjoy the excellent shopping and restaurants of Port Carling and Parry Sound area - take a day trip to Santa's Village.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
