Overview
Come feast your senses at 40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast.
Each room at 40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast offers another reason to plan a visit to this century-old home on Parry Sound's waterfront. Susan Poole and her son, chef Simon Poole, opened in 2006 with your comfort in mind. All rooms are air-conditioned, have king or queen-sized beds, en-suite baths, and access to two cozy sun porches, a guest refrigerator and wireless internet. Susan assures a good night's sleep with a pillow collection that covers every sleeper's need. Each guest room offers a memorable feature that sets it apart from other rooms. The Bay Room treats you to views of the waterfront and the Georgian Bay, while the Garden Room offers a sun-drenched private deck. For a visit with a spa-like feeling, consider the Retreat Room with a two-person shower that contains a rain head and body jets. Chef Simon's breakfasts would be reason enough to stay in this lovely home. His professional training and dedication to fresh organic ingredients and Fair Trade products show in everything from the coffee to such house specialties as cheddar and chive scrambled eggs, French toast with maple syrup and smoked salmon with brie quiche.
40 Bay Street is located just steps from the world famous 30,000 Island cruise, the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and the Festival of the Sound.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
