Overview

This is the private home of a couple from England who chose to live in Canada in 1964.
Orillia is a small city having old fashioned charm, situated on two lakes. Guests can enjoy local activities like golf and boat cruises. Betty and Tony will recommend you to local restaurants, but we are happy to let you use the BBQ or eat take-out in our garden which runs down to the water's edge. There you can use our boat or canoe. If you plan on staying a week or so, there are lots of places you can drive to because Orillia is very central to the inhabited bits of Orillia. We do have a friend who flies guests into the far North but they have to start from Thunder Bay.

A place to relax for a weekend. Arrive after work Friday,go to Casino Rama for a show, after breakfast on Saturday, visit Orillia Farmers Market, then return "home" and relax in our landscaped gardens, watching the neighbours boats going by, swimming, fishing, or bike riding or boating from "home", have a drink or two and then order in a lovely dinner for delivery from a local restaurant recommended by us. Or go buy a steak and borrow our bbq and enjoy it on the deck. Then to bed after a quiet evening around the fire pit. Church would be appropriate after Sunday morning breakfast.
