Overview

Rice Lake, Ontario - Twelve clean, well maintainted, housekeeping cottages on 6.5 acres situation on the north shore of prolific Rice Lake, located approx 90 minutes from Toronto. A coxy, quiet, family/fishing resort. Rice Lake is famour for its EXCELLENT FISHING (bass, walleye, muskie, panfish, carp). Also, swimming, boating, water skiing/tubing, golf only 4 miles away, 15 mins to Peterborough for dining, shopping, theatres and its famous Liftlock located on the historic Trent-Severn Waterway. We have anglers and families that have come to Sunshine Cove for up to 40 years!!! All cottages are well maintained, only steps to waters edge, two and three bedrooms available, electric heat, hot water, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, coffee makers, all dishes, utensils, pots & pans, gas grill (bbq) on own deck, each cottage has 3 pc bath (shower), comfortable beds (pillows & blankets supplies .. linens available at a nominal charge), ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living rooms, laundry facilities, picnic table at each cottage, fire pit located on beach, clean screened in cinderblock fish cleaning house with freezing facilities (n/c), playground, sandy beach area, campfires, horshoe pit, complimentary peddle boat and canoe, boat launching and docking, outdoor hot tub. On site store c/w boat & motor rentals, gas and oil, ice, live bait & tackle, ice cream and more. We are open May - October. Pets welcome at a nominal charge.
