Overview

Our 100 acre hobby farm is set in the picturesque ottawa valley in ontario. Children and pets are welcome. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our farm animals are very friendly and our guests may join in the fun on the farm . We offer horse back riding and trail rides as well as petting the animals and collecting the eggs. We are open all year. snowmobiliers and coss country skiers are welcome. Lake Clear is just 2 minutes drive with it's great fishing and safe public beach. Our cabin has a woodstove and full kitchen. This is a great place for reunions and family vaccations. The Ottawa valley has a host of attractions including white water rafting, the Bonnecherre caves and Algonquin park.

Location & area

Here on the farm you can enjoy the walking/ riding trails, fresh vegetables and farm eggs depending on the time of year. Local shops and resurants can easily be reached via the 512 county road. Our nearest resturant is just 2 minutes drive and there is a corner store and gas bar within walking distance. Eganville is 15 minutes drive with a population of 300 with shops and resturants. Lake Clear is 3 kilometers away and can be reached using the 512 or a trail from the farm.

Our local area is of historical interest. Golden Lake is home to our First Nation people the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan. There are many lakes and rivers with great fishing and white water rafting. The Bonnecherre caves and museium just a few minutes away. We are just five minutes from foymount. This being the highest populated point of Ontario with it's far reaching views of Golden Lake and surrounding area. Also Opeongo line which was one of the first roads and has many older farms with their original log build houses and barns still in use. Ottawa is just over the hour away to the east and Algonquin park one hour to the west.
