Overview

The property was an Anglican monastery from 1928 to 1983, but now offers comfort and elegance. It is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, handy to Bracebridge's charming shops and restaurants.



Generous and creative breakfasts are served in either the formal dining room or the kitchen/family room oak table looking out at the river ravine. Daily hot breakfast house specialties are complemented by seasonal fruits, home-baked items and specialty teas and coffees.



The elegant 20x18 Living Room is reserved for guest use. The Monastery "Historical Notes" book has text and pictures describing the fascinating operations and architectural developments of the SSJE's Muskoka quarters, and the ultimate renovation into the current
structures. Guests gather for coffee available here before the appointed breakfast hour.



NOTE - Minimum two-night reservation required on weekends, July through October.
