Anchorage House & Cottages
With 14 cottages and 4 rooms
is located in Hubbards, Nova Scotia on the beautiful South Shore Lighthouse Route. Only 35 minutes from Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg, and only 40 minutes from the Annapolis Valley.

Our property provides a beautiful setting to relax and stay. While you relax, the children can enjoy our on site playground. Enjoy the view from our private dock of scenic Hubbards Cove and the many boats which take shelter in its quiet waters or perhaps you would prefer to experience the cove from one of our row boats. Walk to Hubbards Beach and awaken your senses to the salt air, the ocean waves and the sand beneath your feet.

Our village like setting offers all the amenities to enjoy a night, a week or even longer.Great for family reunions or retreats, accommodating up to 70 people. Come, relax and enjoy your stay in a cottage or room in the charming 19th Century home. Accommodations include; thirteen cottages , all with fully equipped kitchens for those extended stays and one sleeping cabin. Each cottage has a private deck with BBQ, cable TV, some units have fireplace and/or whirlpool tub.

The "Anchorage House" has four suites all with private bathrooms, cable TV and phones, including a king suite with 6' whirlpool tub and a queen suite with kitchenette and fireplace.

Location & area

We are ideally situated to provide a base for exploring Nova Scotia 's most beautiful coastline including the undiscovered Aspotogan Peninsula area with ten beaches. Hubbards is cottage country, located on the scenic Lighthouse Route, we are only 30 minutes from Halifax, Lunenburg, and Peggy's Cove ,
and the Annapolis Valley is less than an hour away. Take highway 102 North (Outbound) from Bayers Road , Exit 1A to ( Yarmouth , South Shore ) stay on exit 1A directly into 103 West. Take Exit 6 from 103 to Hubbards turn left on Highway 3 approximately 3km (2mi) on the right you will come to the end of Hubbards Cove. Turn right and cross a small bridge, keep right on the Shore Club Road , we are on the left 3 houses past the Church .
