Overview
The Metro Suite is a large, one-bedroom apartment located in a beautiful, new building called The Astoria, which is located in downtown Victoria in the heart of Victoria's thriving tourist and business area.
It is the ideal place to stay for business travellers or extended-stay vacation visitors who are looking for a comfortable, upscale address in a self-catering apartment in downtown Victoria.
Here's what's included when you stay in the Metro Suite:

Free high speed internet
Fax machine and free local phone calls with voice mail. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, spices, microwave popcorn and hot chocolate plus you'll find Comfortable, contemporary furnishings throughout.
You'll sleep comfortably on a Queen size bed with pillow-top mattress and, in the living room, there's an additional Double size, convertible sofa bed with 7" Serta mattress.
The bedroom features Bedside tables/lamps, a bedside telephone and clock radio, a television set, there's a Large clothes closet and and a large mirror on the bedroom wall.
There are Curtains and blinds on the bedroom windows and the bedroom floor is carpeted. In the living area there are binds on the windows & on the patio door, which opens onto an East-facing balcony, which catches the morning and mid-morning sun and offers residential views with some mountain glimpses
The living room has an entertainment centre with an LCD TV and cable television service, a DVD Player and a Stereo & CD Player.
There's a Selection of books/games/CD's/DVD's for rainy days and a selection of tourism brochures, topical local magazines and newspapers.
You can relax on the couch or on one of the 2 comfortable leather chairs and there are side tables and floor lamps to make your reading easy.
In the office area theres a High speed internet connection, a Fax Machine, a wall Clock and a Desk Lamp.
Over in the kitchen area you'll find a large Stainless steel fridge, an electric stove, a Dishwasher and a Microwave oven.
There are place settings and cutlery for 4 as well as wine and spirit glasses and champagne flutes, there's even a picnic basket for those sunny days when you want to go to the park, or visit a nearby beach.
Of course there's a full complement of cooking utensils, a coffee maker, kettle and a teapot.
We also supply tea towels, dishcloths, cleaning supplies,
paper towels and a Recycling container.
In the dining area there's a Glass top table with seating for four people.
We also provide an En-Suite Laundry with a washer and a dryer, plus an iron and Ironing board, a Vacuum cleaner and other cleaning supplies.
In the bathroom there's a deep Soaker tub and shower combination with safety bar to assist getting in and out of the tub. We also provide towels, facecloths, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and a hair dryer.
The Metro Suite features bamboo flooring in the entrance, kitchen, dining and living room areas, carpet in the bedroom and ceramic tile in bathroom.
Surroundings are decorated in a soft marine palette. All amenities are tastefully appointed and include everything you need to make your stay comfortable, convenient and enjoyable.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
