No.2 Tan-y-Fedw is a traditional Welsh stone cottage in the Snowdonia National Park and ideally located for exploring the whole of North Wales. The cottage is within walking distance of pubs/restaurants and is rated 4 star.The cottage has a Super King size bed for that luxury of space and a touch of romance. Alternatively the main bedroom can have twin beds. The second bedroom has a single bed so is ideal for a child or for a third person in a group of friends or family.There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area. The lounge has a log burning stove and a TV/DVD player (bring your favourite films!).In the garden, there is a patio area with garden furniture where you can admire the view of the Conwy Valley.We hope this gives you a flavour of the cottage and we look forward to hearing from you.

The cottage is in the village of Trefriw, within the Snowdonia National Park and only 5 miles from the bustling village of Betws-y-Coed.
From the cottage there are walks in the Gwydyr Forest including the Trefriw Trails. For a stroll, there are pathways on the embankments opposite the house through the grazing farmland. There are also mountain bikes trails nearby including the famous Marin Trail.
Within an hour's drive of the cottage, you can be at the coast at Llandudno, visit the village of Portmeirion, Conwy Castle and Caernarfon Castle, the wonderful gardens at Bodnant, take a train ride on one of the many steam railways in the area, or be high up a mountain enjoying the stunning views.
The village of Trefriw itself has several pubs/restaurants for dining out in the evening plus a cafe. There are village shops which can supply good quality local food and other supplies you may need.

Downstairs, the kitchen is well-equipped and should have nearly anything you need to cook meals.
The lounge has a log burning stove.
The garden has a gravel patio with table and chairs. You are welcome to use the shed for storage of bikes.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
