Overview
Prysgoed is bed and breakfast accommodation run from a family home ideally situated for those energetic types that have an abundance of energy for walking or cycling over the beautiful hills surrounding the Cader Idris mountain or those less energetic that would like to appreciate the scenery from the comfort of a garden chair or whilst sipping some refreshment from the local pub or café. There are great fishing spots along the coast, known for their Bass, Wrays, Flatfish and Mackerel. There is also a championship Golf course nearby.
The property lies in the quiet, pretty village of Llwyngwril nestling in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park on the West coast of Wales. It is half way between the lovely town of Dolgellau and the seaside town of Tywyn.
Fairbourne is just 2 miles away and boasts a quiet extensive sandy beach, and Barmouth is just 15 miles away, providing all the seaside entertainment you could need. The Cader Idris Mountain range is local and the property is in an ideal location for hill walking, sightseeing and cycling with magnificent views across cardigan bay and the Llyn Peninsular.
There is a very good cafe and a pub serving meals in the village.(linebreak}We have 2 good sized rooms, 1 double and 1 twin/super king, both very comfortable and recently decorated with new beds and furniture. Both rooms have a tv/dvd and tea and coffee making facilities replenished daily. The bathroom has a double sized shower, a double ended roll top bath, and 2 handbasins, this is a very spacious room.
Bed linen, towels and cosy fleece robes are provided and changed regularly. The dining room is comfortably furnished and breakfast will be cooked to order from our extensive menu including vegetarian options. Any special requirements will be addressed on request.
Because we have only 2 rooms we are able to provide a personal service.

Tea and coffee making facilities are replenished daily.
Each room has a wardrobe, a dressing table,with a stool, 2 sets of drawers, its own hairdryer and an adapter for a shaver is also provided.
Both rooms have the benefit of flat screen tv/dvd
There is additional heating for the colder months.
A bath sheet and a hand towel is provided for each guest together with a cosy fleece robe so you can go to and from the bathroom in comfort.
All bedding is provided and changed regularly.
An iron and board is available for you to use on request.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
