Overview

Spacious rooms throughout, makes this a comfortable property for six adults as well as a family. There is a wood burning fire in the large lounge which is wonderful for cozying up in the evenings! Brand new kitchen and bathroom installed in 2008, and wooden floors and other period features throughout.

We have ponies, chickens and dogs on site, with some rare breed sheep arriving soon! There are several Red Kite nesting sites in our woods, which our visitors are welcome to explore.

Only a short drive from the Victorian Spa Town of Llandrindod Wells, close to Builth Wells and the River Wye, and from there, the small Market Town of Rhayader ? Gateway to the Elan Vally, ?The Lakeland of Wales?.

Hill and moorland walks from the cottage door. A short drive from the border, with Offa's Dyke Centre in Knighton 18 miles away and 25 miles drive to Brecon and the Beacons. An ideal base from which to explore this unspoilt area of Wales.

Close to the Royal Welsh Showground ? Stabling available by arrangement.
