Overview

Swallow Cottage is an attractive two storey barnconversion which is equipped to a high standard. This Welsh holiday cottage is situated in a quiet conservation area of the ancient medieval twonship of Laugharne. The ground floor comprises: Hallway, Lounge(with TV, Video, DVD, Digibox and stereo system) plus Kitchen/Diner which has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms sleeping four in comfort (one double and two singles) The bathroom has a bath with shower over, handbasin and WC. There are safe secure patio gardens to the front and rear of the property with garden furniture and BBQ. Adjoining there is private off road parking for two cars. We are strictly non-smoking and welcome children and well behaved pets free of charge Shortbreaks are available and we provide a welcome pack and personal note for our guests many of whom return year after year.

Location & area

The historical ancient township of Laugharne
is famed for its connections with Dylan Thomas and is thought to be the model for Llareggub in Under Milkwood. It is a lovely
little town in its own right with castle ruins and breathtaking estuary views over the River Taf with plenty of lovely walks.
Laugharne boasts a number of Pubs and has a good choice of restaurants, it also has a bakery,PostOffice/Pharmacy/Newsagent/General Store, a mini-market and a Fish and Chip shop.

The beaches of Pendine, Amroth and Wisemans Bridge are a short car ride away with Saundersfoot and Tenby a little further along the Pembrokeshire Coast and Gower back towards Swansea. Other tourist attractions include The National Garden of Wales, Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Caldey Island and St Davids plus many more - just too numerous to mention.

Laugharne is a good base for a family holiday or short break or just to chill out, relax and recharge your batteries. Once you visit maybe you'll be like our many other visitors who return year after year and sometimes more than once of year.
