Location & area
Brynteg is located within the spacious grounds of our home (Brynarthen) which is nestled in a peaceful, scenic valley, close to the beautiful Cardigan Bay coast with its abundance of wildlife, flora, rugged cliffs, hidden coves, safe sandy beaches, all surrounded by ancient and charming villages full of Welsh history. The award-winning Llwynhelig farm shop is nearby, which specialises in locally grown produce together with fresh and frozen meat, a superb range of traditional Welsh delicacies including home-baked pastries, pies and delicious ice-cream.
For our younger guests, we have a spacious, enclosed lawned area together with swings and a substantial Wendy house within our grounds. Lively or lazy, however you choose to enjoy your break, Brynteg or Brynarthen cottage will provide an idyllic setting for your holiday. Come and enjoy rural Wales at its best.
If you are feeling lively, there is a wide variety of things to do and places to visit, together with independently organised activities and courses available within the area. These include golf, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, fly fishing, arts and crafts, guided walks, bird watching, water sports, dry ski slope, dolphin and seal watching, to name but a few.
If you are feeling lazy and just want to relax and unwind, you need never leave your cottage and secluded private garden. We even provide evening meals, barbecue and picnic packs, delivered to your cottage by prior arrangement. A licensed Londis supermarket at Brynhoffnant sells a vast range of provisions, has an in-store bakery and will deliver daily.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
