Overview
Tegfryn Cottage has recently been completely but sensitively renovated retaining the stone walls and some of the beamed ceilings whilst making it as comfortable and cosy as possible. There is an open fire in the breakfast room but also electric heating in all rooms.
The accommodation comprise of - Ground Floor:- Living Room, Breakfast Room, Kitchen (with electric cooker and microwave) and Bathroom.
First Floor:- 1 Double and 2 Single bedrooms.
All bed linen is provide and the beds are made up ready for your arrival.
There is an enclosed garden with patio furniture and barbeque at the rear of the cottage and the river Brenig is immediately outside the garden.
Just outside Tregaron is the world famous Cors Caron nature reserve where you can see all sorts of flora and fauna including the rare Red Kite. The whole area is renown for its fishing in the rivers and local lakes. Ceredigion has miles of coastal footpath from where you can watch porpoise, dolphins and if you are very lucky maybe a whale out at sea. There are miles of beautiful beaches all around Cardigan Bay, and many pretty villages to visit.
The bustling University town of Aberystwyth with its shops, theatre, museum and night life is about a 30 minute drive and the Georgian town of Aberareon with its picturesque harbour is approximately 16 miles away.
