Overview
Admiralty House is a spectacular holiday home, it enjoys a superb position overlooking Pittenweem harbour with views directly over the sea. This Listed Harbour House has been superbly renovated to a very high standard and is one of the premier properties of East Neuk Escapes
The house sleeps 8/10 people in well-appointed accommodation. There is a wonderful sitting room with unrestricted views of Pittenweem harbour and on towards the Firth of Forth. It has four beautifully furnished bedrooms - three of these have wonderful sea views. The new kitchen is superbly equipped and at the back of the house is a sunny garden with patio furniture.
This spacious, light and airy holiday house provides a superb base for a group of friends or a family vacation.
The luxurious kitchen is fully equipped with a oven/hob, microwave, fridge/ larder and next door in the utility room there is a dishwasher and washing machine/drier. The kitchen has double-glazed French doors to the rear patio leading from there to the garden. The focal point of the large dining room is the Victorian mantle-piece with cast iron fireplace and attractive tiled surround. It is also at the front of the property and benefits from sea views.
From the large sitting room, through the double sash and case windows, you have spectacular sea views. This room is presented with flat screen television, dvd, video, and cd system with radio.
There are four bedrooms. A twin-bedded room on the ground floor (which may be helpful for elderly relatives) with sea views. A double bedroom on the first floor also enjoys wonderful sea views and features a wooden painted mantle and tiled hearth. The other twin bedroom on the same floor has views over the garden. The new family bathroom is next to these bedrooms. This wonderful property also benefits from a separate shower room and a downstairs w.c.
There is an outstanding family room on the second floor. This spacious room which sleeps up to 4, has two single windows and four skylights making this a bright and sunny room. It has spectacular sea views to the front to the Firth of Forth and to the rear to the garden.
There is central heating throughout the holiday home. There are a number of secure outhouses to the rear which provide useful storage areas. There is the ability to park right outside the front door.
Walk out of Admiralty House and nearby there are beautiful coastal walks and cycle ways, lovely rock pools, a small beach and local children's playground. Admiralty House is only a few minutes walk away from the centre of this pretty village - which benefits from facilities such as a post office, general store, fruit and veg shop, butcher, bakery, fish and chip shop, florist, chemist, hairdresser etc.
Pittenweem itself, being home to the Arts Festival, is also a real hot spot for arts, crafts and antiques. There are award winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, water sports, and many holiday activities in the area. There are several excellent restaurants and lots of family-friendly pubs to visit nearby.
