Overview

Sandwood and Glenfinnan Lodges are cosy self catering lodges situated at Rowardennan, on the east shores of Loch Lomond, 6 miles north from the village of Balmaha.

Loch Lomond is certainly one of the world's most stunning and internationally renowned locations. The country's largest fresh water loch is now part of Scotland's first National Park in an area where for centuries, visitors have travelled to, to take in spectacular scenery, sail, walk and climb - and simply breathe fresh air.

Privately owned, Sandwood Lodge provides those who prefer self catering holiday accommodation, access to some wonderful lochside and hill walks from the doorstep, and direct access to Loch Lomond for water based sports and easy launching for those who prefer to bring their own craft. There is a jetty and shallow beach which is ideal for canoeing from or launching windsurfers and sailing boats. Moorings can be hired.
