Overview
Flowerbank is an attractive, detached 18th Century guest house with an acre of landscaped gardens along the banks of the river Cree.
The house can accommodate 12 people at any given time in the five letting rooms. Rooms 1, 4 and 5 (all double rooms, although room 4 has an additional single) have views over the garden and river, whilst rooms 2 (a twin room) and 3 (a double with additional single) have pleasant views over neighbouring gardens, towards the Minnigaff hills in the distance.
Room 1, the only room without an en-suite, has its own private bathroom a few paces from the room. All rooms have remote control colour televisions, hairdryers, clock/radio alarms and tea/coffee making facilities.
The South-facing guest lounge has pleasant views over the garden towards the river. We encourage our guests to take full advantage of this room, and during the colder months ensure that the open fire is laid and ready for lighting.
Immediately alongside the house we have a lockable outbuilding where guests are able to leave larger items, such as bikes and golf bags overnight/during the day when not in use. There is also ample private car parking space in the area immediately surrounding the house.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
