Tigh Alasdair self-catering cottage provides ideal holiday accomodation for exploring the remote island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. It is set on a traditional croft in a beautiful and peaceful lochside location, with outstanding views of the hills & moors. Excellent for fishing, bird (RSPB reserve at Banranald)& wildlife watching(especially otters, red deer whales and dolphins), walking, cycling, canoeing.Find endless inspiration for hobbies such as photography, painting and writing. Enjoy the Gaelic culture, archaeology and history of the island. Inside is cosy & well equipped, with an open peat fire. Outside a fenced garden is suitable for children & dogs and allows for parking. Travel to the island is by ferry or flying from mainland Scotland or other Hebridean Islands. Touring throughout the Western Isles is possible by road & ferry links
