Overview

Beautiful self-contained cottage with all rooms en-suite. Located within Loch Lomond national park we are five minutes walk to Loch Lomond. The cottage straddles Ballagan Burn which flows down to meet the waters of Loch Lomond. Accommodation is all on one level, two en-suite bedrooms, sitting room and kitchen. All bedding is supplied as well as fresh towels, elec and gas included in price. Plenty outdoor activities, hill walking, canoeing, archery etc all nearby. Private parking. Also Old Smiddy Apartment sleeps three available.

The Old Smiddy is located within Loch Lomond National Park. Coming on M8 from Glasgow Airport follow signs for Erskine Bridge. A898 Erskine Bridge (60p toll) keep to left hand lane when crossing bridge, join A82 follow Loch Lomond signs. On approaching Loch Lomond turn right at the Balloch roundabout and continue on A811 ahead at two roundabouts. The Old Smiddy is second on right.
