Overview

Aird View is very peacefully located on a single-track no-through road approximately 7 miles from Portree, which is the "capital" of Skye. In Portree there are a good selection of shops, restaurants, take-aways and pubs.
Aird View is a spacious 3-bedroom family size bungalow, with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. All bedding (duvets) and linen is included in the weekly rental. The bungalow has oil fired central heating by radiators to all rooms. Heating and electricity is also included. You are welcome to bring up to two dogs, but because of local sheep, dogs must be kept on leads when outside of the garden.

Aird View has a large, comfortably furnished lounge/diner - with spectacular uninterrupted views over the sea to the Isle of Raasay and to the distant mountains of the mainland. There is a colour TV and DVD player.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with full size cooker, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glassware and utensils.

The bathroom has a 3-piece suite with over-bath electric shower.

To either side of the bungalow are garden areas and drying green. There is off-road parking space for at least three cars.

Just 100 yards from the front door is a path to a beautiful beach - sandy at low tide - which has fascinating rock pools. Nearby cliffs provide hours of exploration - find the caves, stacks, arches and blow hole...! Further afield, Skye provides a vast range of holiday experiences, choose from world-renowned restaurants, serious mountain climbing, hill walking, breathtaking scenery, sightseeing, historic sites, castles...the list is endless.
