Overview
Awarded 5 Diamonds by the AA, 5 Diamonds by the RAC, as well as the RAC's Sparkling Diamond award, Moyness House is the former home of the acclaimed early 20th Century novelist, Neil M Gunn, and now offers first class bed and breakfast accommodation to discerning travellers.
Moyness House has 6 en suite guest bedrooms, all beautifully decorated and retaining Victorian character while offering luxurious modern comfort. The gracious sitting room is filled with books and games and is the ideal place to unwind with a single malt after spending a satisfying day exploring the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The splendid breakfasts at Moyness House feature an excellent range of choices, many sourced from local free range and organic produce.
On fine days the peaceful walled garden, with its graceful mature trees, is a great place to relax.
Moyness House is well situated, in a quiet residential street, less than 10 minutes walk from Inverness city centre and 5 minutes walk from several highly recommended restaurants, Eden Court Theatre complex and the delightful riverside walks along the banks of the Ness. Moyness House has ample car parking within its grounds.
Jenny and Richard Jones will be very happy to advise on the many excellent local restaurants and to make dinner reservations.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
