India Street is a ground floor self-catering rental apartment on a fine terrace of houses in Georgian Edinburgh dating from the early 1800's.
Its location is very central, just 5 minutes walk from the shops on George Street and Princes Street, and about a mile from Edinburgh International Conference Centre. With high ceilings and tall windows typical of 18th/19th century Edinburgh Georgian interiors, the flat has an expansive feeling, and is an ideal base for those like peace and quiet, a central location and civilised surroundings.
The twin bedroom has a hairdryer and trouser press and there is the option to accommodate a third person on a fold-down bed in the living room, a child's cot is also available.
The bow-ended drawing room has a marble fireplace, living-flame gas fire, dining area, comfortable sofas, tv, dvd and hi-fi. Particularly interesting are the two pinewood drawing room doors cut and shaped to match the curve of the bow wall.
The kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and ironing facilities.
The window with a table and window-seat looks over the gardens behind India Street.
