Overview

With Grade B Listing, Gamrie Lodge is a fine example of a four storey, Regency Buchan, former Manse dating circa.1828.

Currently undergoing restoration by the present owners, the Lodge, with it's distinctive projecting semi-circular stair tower, is set peacefully amidst lightly wooded grounds, yet commands uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside of Aberdeenshire Scotland.

Built around a private gravelled courtyard within the grounds of Gamrie Lodge, the former stables and coach house have been fully renovated to provide two luxury self-catering holiday cottages which are available throughout the year.

For your comfort our self-catering holiday cottages are fully furnished and tastefully decorated sleeping either 2+2 (The Swallows) or 4+2 (The Owl). In the event your group extends to 10 guests, access to both cottages can be linked through the courtyard. Each cottage is double glazed, centrally heated and complemented in the main sitting room with a glass fronted feature cast iron multi-fuel stove. In the main bedroom of each cottage you have the choice of two single beds or a 6ft wide super-king. Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
