Centrally located on the shore of Loch Voil in the beautiful mountains of Balquhidder, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Stronvar House offers exclusive self catering vacation rental accommodation for up to 12 guests. Comprising a private suite on the ground and first floors of the Carnegie Wing, guest accommodation is spacious and is accessed via a magnificent oak staircase, the dominant feature of the entrance and main halls. From the comfortable drawing room and well equipped kitchen and dining rooms, to the five en-suite bedrooms every guest convenience is provided for with all modern fittings and appliances. The decor and furnishings are sympathetically in keeping with the age and grandeur of the property and the views are outstanding. Open Easter to end September each year. A very large grand family Mansion House for elegant living in Rob Roy and Braveheart country. Price includes electricity, hot water and linens. A free to use 24/7 Internet connected PC in the Drawing Room.

In the mountains of a small glen in the Braes O"Balquhidder overlooking Loch (Lake) Voil.

A quiet and peaceful part of Central Scotland yet accessible to all parts of Scotland. The House is in the heart of the countryside. You will possibly meet the local Deer, Pine marten, squirrel and spectacular birdlife.

This is a comfortable old house with creaking floorboards plus perhaps an old ghost or two.

If you want Victoriana with even older historic features this is the place.
If you want a modern antiseptic new build with no character, you must go elsewhere!
