Overview

6 Portinode Cottages is suitable for a wide range of guests, from families to couples, having 3 separate bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with wc and electric shower, and patio doors offer views of the lake. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the third has a set of bunk beds. A baby cot and high chair are also available, and bed linen and towels are provided. The main bathroom has a bath. The kitchen is attractively designed and is equipped with all modern conveniences, such as an oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, etc. Cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils are also provided. The utility room includes a washer / drier, clothes drier and ironing facilities. The dining room has a large table with eight chairs, and leads into the living room. The lounge has a TV, video and dvd player. The music system plays cds and has a radio. The cottage is surrounded by its own open gardens and enjoys wonderful views of nearby Hare Island and beyond to the open lough. It has access to its own berth in Portinode Cottages' private marina, located on the lakeshore in front of the property. The cottage has a south facing patio area, offering beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills. Barbeque facilities and patio furniture are also available for guests enjoyment. There is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

approximately 75 miles (120km) from Belfast International Airport and 95 miles (150 km) from the City Airport and ferry terminal in Belfast. We are a 2 hour drive from Belfast and around 100 miles (160 km) from Dublin.



The nearest settlement is Kesh village, approximately 3 miles / 5 km south east of Portinode. From Kesh, take the Pettigo Road (A35) heading north. Less than 1 mile / 1.5 km from Kesh, at the Palm Bush petrol station, take the A47 on the left, heading westwards towards Boa Island and Belleek. After around 2 miles / 3 km you will see an unmarked tarmac lane on the left, just before Tudor Farm. Follow the lane towards the loughshore and turn left into Portinode cottages. No. 6 is on the main driveway.
