Overview
Carraig Lodge, self-catering holiday accommodation, Castlerock, offers luxury 5 * self-catering holiday accommodation for up to 6 people, with all rooms on ground floor level.
To the rear of the property you will find an extensive enclosed patio area with BBQ facilities and patio furniture seating 6 and sun loungers.
Accommodation consists of a spacious, fully equipped kitchen/dining area which overlooks the rear garden and has access to the utility room and garage.
The lounge is luxuriously furnished with your comfort in mind and features a gas fire for those chillier evenings. It is equipped with digital TV, DVD player, Micro Hi Fi System (with provision for your iPod or MP3 player).
There are three bedrooms (1 twin, 1 double and 1 double en suite) sleeping 6, all fully furnished. The main bathroom has a bath, WC, wash basin and electric shower. Electric blankets are available for both double beds, if needed, to provide extra heat and comfort during the winter months.
The bungalow is double glazed throughout and has oil fired central heating, leaving it cosy no matter what the season.
At the rear of the bungalow, there is an extensive patio area with a built in BBQ. There is patio furniture for 6 provided for your use as well as 2 sun loungers.
The North Coast area is noted for its outstanding natural beauty and within the Castlerock area there are many scenic walks to enjoy and some National Trust Sites and Properties to explore.
If you want to leave the car behind, you can catch a bus or why not take the train from the railway station in Castlerock village and enjoy the scenic rail journey along the coast towards London/Derry?
This exceptional home should cater for the most discerning guest while providing a convenient base for exploring Northern Ireland's magnificent North Coast.
You will find Castlerock's unspoilt beach, the River Bann's Barmouth, Hazlett House, Mussenden and Downhill Demesne all within walking distance. Dunluce Castle, The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Whitepark Bay, Bushmills Distillery, the coastal towns of Portrush and Portstewart (and beautiful Portstewart Strand) are all within easy reach. The Foyle ferry at Magilligan, crossing to Greencastle, Co Donegal, is approximately 15 minutes drive away.
There is a range of shops and pubs in the area or, for a wide range of shops, a 10 minute drive will take you to Coleraine. If you want to leave the car behind, there is a railway station a short walk away as well as bus links to neighbouring towns.
Please note rental is Saturday to Saturday during July and August.
