Overview
You are assured of a relaxing stay in our cottage, a listed building in a superb location, situated beside the National Trust Downhill Estate, a short distance from Mussenden Temple, the beach, Castlerock Championship Golf Club and Magilligan to Greencastle Ferry.
To the front of the cottage are views of the beach with Portstewart and Portrush in the distance. There are many areas of interest in the area including the National Trust Barmouth Bird Sanctury. Many twitchers visit this area all year round.
The cottage has three bedrooms, a living room, library of books for visitors use, wood burning stove and the kitchen/dining room are well equipped with modern applicances. To the rear of the cottage are barbacue and parking facilities.
Local activities includes walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and golf.
Many places of historical interest include: Lions Gate and Gardens, Hezlett House, Mussenden Temple, Martello Tower at Magilligan Point, Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Bushmills Distillery.

The cottage is situated on the edge of Castlerock just off the main A2 costal route. Coming from Limavady and Downhill, Castlerock is on your left, coming from Coleraine it is on your right. Take the Sea Road into Castlerock Village and turn right after crossing the railway line along Main Street. Continue straight ahead up Tunnel Brae and you will see the cottage on the left at the top of the hill.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
