Our luxury Derbyshire cottage is happily situated among the peaceful undulating hills and picturesque pasture land of the Derbyshire Dales. Derbyshire is a rich and varied county offering charming hidden valleys and long winding riverbanks which contrast deeply with the ancient and vibrant heather covered moorland of the Peak District National Park.



Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Derbyshire Dales are alive with culture, history and an array of wildlife making it a first class location for all outdoor pursuits. Whether it's exploring the many delightful towns and villages, settling in for a few pints and a good meal at a country inn, or some serious hill walking, you'll find that the Derbyshire Dales has it all.



Our luxury cottage is located in Wirksworth - the ‘jewel' of the Peak District - which is fast becoming one of the most fascinating places to visit in the region. The town has been centred around its market place since 1306 and the reign of Edward I. The market is still held every Tuesday and Saturday.



Wirksworth has thrived since Medieval times giving rise to its outstanding 13th century church which boasts one of the most important sculptural remains of the 9th century.
