Overview

Glencree is a beautiful traditional Lakeland stone Guest house, it is perfectly situated midway between Windermere village and Lake Windermere, backed by woodland and over looking a pretty stream it is the perfect location for your holiday. We have six individal ensuite rooms, a large guest lounge and dining room with honesty bar and private off road parking. There are numerous things to do around Glencree and the resident proprietor will be happy to offer advice on attractions and recreations on offer. We are also pleased to advise and make reservations with the many excellent restaurants in the area. Glencree is exclusively a non-smoking establishment. Free wifi internet is available.
