Overview

Stover Lodge is a large detatched property on the main road into Torquay. All of our rooms have en-suite hower rooms, TVs, clock radios and tea and coffee making facilities. We are open all year and therefore have central heating. We also have a good sized car park and a garden for guests use. We offer a full English breakfast as well as a vegetarian or continental option. Families and babies are welcome and a cot and high chair are provided.
You can use Stover Lodge as a base to explore the Devon countryside with its amazing scenery and pretty villages. You can walk along the South Devon Coastal Path or explore Dartmoor. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are within easy reach as well as the beautiful towns of Dartmoor and Totnes. Torbay has 22 miles of coastline with over 20 beaches, so whether it's swimming, fishing or just lying on the beach you enjoy there's plenty for everyone.

Location & area

When the M5 ends it becomes the A 38, follow this road until the Torquay junction. Take the A380 to Torquay, on this road you will pass Newton Abbot and go through Kingskerswell. On entering Torquay you will come to a roundabout with English Riviera in flowers on your left hand side, go straight over this roundabout. After this, go straight through 5 sets of traffic lights, following signs to town centre. At the 6th set, take the left hand lane, you will see a Halfords superstore on your right, Stover Lodge is the 2nd hotel on the left after these lights.
