This beautiful Georgian Farmhouse Situated close to Stansted Airport & junction 8 of M11, retains characteristics and charm of the period and offers superb accommodation. We offer you the hospitality of our home and its history.
Comfortable beds,beautiful linen & spacious rooms. All rooms have colour TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities.
On warmer days relax in our spacious gardens. An open log fire on cold days, all adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a home cooked meal in The George, a 16th Century Pub ajacent to us.

Stayed here for one night after being stranded at Stansted Airport due to snow.
Very helpful over the phone with advice on getting there (no taxis and limited trains due to weather conditions). Took at train to Bishops Stortford, the local station and the landlord kindly offered to collect me and other guests in his Land Rover (made 2 trips to collect us all). Douglas and Marie were very friendly and helpful at all times and I was extremely grateful for their service, particularly as I would have had to sleep at Stansted if it wasn't for their kindness. This made a huge difference to the start of my Christmas break. The house is very nice and is a comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was great, with several options and set me up well for the remainder of my journey. No hesitation in thoroughly recommending this B&B.
