Situated in the award-winning 450 acre private Lower Mill Estate with its own private Spa with three swimming pools, sauna and steam room; a shop selling local produce and nature reserve.This light and spacious self-catering holiday home has been furnished to the highest standard to provide you, your family and friends with a luxurious break with beautiful uninterrupted views over the lake to a Site of Special Scientific Interest.Goose Nest House has four double bedrooms (two king, two twins), one small, child's bedroom (child bed and travel cot available, three bathrooms (two en-suite), a fully-fitted kitchen with the full range of mod cons, an open plan living/dining area with full-width sliding glass doors to the balcony overlooking Somerford Lagoon and a wood-burning stove to snuggle up on colder nights. Goose Nest House is ideally equipped to provide you with the ultimate break.The Lower Mill Estate has seven lakes, three rivers running through it (including the River Thames just three miles from its source), meadows and nature walks. Guests of Goose Nest can also fish and sail on the lakes (boat not provided). The Cotswold Water Park has wind surfing, water skiing, riding, golf and sailing tuition all within 15 minutes of the house.

The heart of the house is the open plan living/dining area with full width sliding glass doors to the balcony overlooking Somerford Lagoon.



In the summer you can sit on the balcony enjoying the sunshine and a glass of wine. In winter, the log burning stove will keep you cosy and warm as you watch the stars at night.



The fully fitted kitchen provides all mod-cons to make your stay as easy as possible including dishwasher, microwave, five hob oven and in the utility room, a Hotpoint washer-dryer.

Each bedroom is furnished with solid maplewood beds - two kingsize and two twins fitted with luxury mattresses for your comfort. Two of the rooms are ensuite and all have plenty of storage space for your belongings.



This is a family home where children are welcome. We've provided high chair, travel cot, child bed, steriliser, potty, hand blender, cutlery and plates.



For older children, there is a Nintendo Game Cube, DVD and range of board games, computer games and DVDs to keep them occupied while you relax.
