Overview

Named after a fictitious smuggler famous for his scarecrow disguise!
This cosy 3 bedroom, (2 double, one twin) period cottage stands in East Street in the heart of Rye.

From the front door of the cottage you enter the long through sitting room and dining area which includes 2 comfortable sofa's, a rustic antique dining table and chairs for 6, a TV /DVD player with a choice of films.

From the far end of this room you enter the kitchen. This is very well fitted with an integral dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine, 5 burner gas hob, microwave, toaster etc. Off this room there is also a small downstairs toilet/utility room and a very small, private walled courtyard.

From the front room there is a flight of steep stairs to the first floor.

The landing leads off to;
The first Double bedroom overlooking East Street which boasts 2 fitted cupboards and a brass & iron double bed.
A large contemporary style family bathroom with bath, overhead shower,sink and toilet.
