Situated on the border of Shropshire and Powys, Bryn Tanat Hall sits on the banks of the River Tanat overlooking the Breidden hills to the south and west to the Meifod valley, offering stunning panoramic views of the picturesque countryside.Providing superb country living, this impressive estate house, with oak framed rooms, dates back to the late 17th century, but with enigmatic evidence suggesting a dwelling on the land going further back to the early Bronze Age, Bryn Tanat Hall and surrounding estate is an area steeped in history and grandeur.Nestled in magnificently landscaped gardens Bryn Tanat offers you an unrivalled location for your perfect country getaway - its south facing, sunny position overlooks the sloping terraced gardens which are magnificently landscaped and ideal for outside entertaining.Owned since 1967 by the family, the property has been lovingly restored with the rentention of many original features, exposed timbers and open fires which add to a truly amazing atmosphere.Bryn Tanat Hall represents good interior design of a very high standard in its elegantly appointed and furnished rooms where success lies in the detail and in the history of the Hall.The smallest detail, linen, towels, china, glass and cutlery are all considered to enhance the quality of your stay.All the public rooms and private rooms, with the exception of 3 bedrooms which over look the courtyard, face south or west enjoying views of the River Tanat or the Meifod valley.The gardens are designed to complement the Hall and the ancient specimen trees in the grounds. As you walk down to the riverside lawn the paths and trees open out to reveal the house sitting imposingly on the third terrace beneath which the terraces are landscaped to include a spectacular fountain and thatched summer house.
