Overview
Luxury Marazion CottageThe name means 'Seawinds' in Cornish and befits this 4 bedroom detached modern property which is south facing and directly overlooks Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount.
The house is modern, light and airy but has the benefit of double glazing and modern central heating for the cooler winters. Recently refurbished to a very high standard with oak floors in all rooms, except bathrooms and kitchen, which are travertine stone with underfloor heating. Accommodation is reverse level to take advantage of the panoramic sea views from all front facing rooms. There are 2 first floor reception rooms with sea views (1 with balcony and seating area) and open plan kitchen diner.
The master bedroom (with ensuite shower/wet room) is also on first floor. There are 3 further bedrooms- king, twin, single, a large family bathroom, drying room, a third toilet and separate utility space to the ground floor. There is an integral garage and plenty of parking space on the drive. A large garden fronts the property with panoramic sea views and a smaller garden at the rear is enclosed for children and has a decking area with seating.
Spacious lounge leading on to balcony with panoramic sea views of the whole Bay from Penzance and Mousehole towards St Michaels Mount. Plasma TV screen with surround sound, Sky Freeview & DVD.
Separate quieter space/reading room also with sea views and wi-fi broadband connection.
Open plan kitchen-diner with sea views, dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer. Travertine stone floor with underfloor heating.
Also on first floor with views to rear garden - Master bedroom with king size bed, dressing area and en-suite travertine shower room/wet room with underfloor heating and demisting/illuminated mirror above sink.
Outside hot water shower useful for washing off wet suits and children when returning from the beach.
