Overview
Marazion Holiday Cottage - Self Catering - Sleeps upto 5 people
Set in the romantic village of Marazion, with its long sandy beach, quaint old pubs and the historic St Michael's Mount, Gillan is a modern cottage, in a little street, just a short walk from the shoreline.
The cottage is furnished in contemporary style, with solid wood or carpeted floors and lots of attention to detail.
On the first floor, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has comfortable sofas, discreet lighting, a state-of-the-art kitchen and has views of the sea and St Michael's Mount across rooftops. The three bedrooms are prettily furnished and from the double bedroom, patio doors lead onto the decking area where, amongst the pots and flowers, a table and chairs are provided.
The cottage has its own off-road parking space just 150m level walk from the house.

Location & area
Marazion is a special place for everyone: for the children the sandy beach is sandcastle heaven; for teenagers the surfing, windsurfing and body-boarding are irresistible; and for the grown ups the interesting little shops, tearooms and traditional pubs provide plenty of interest.
For keen walkers the South Cornish Coastal Path passes right through the village and there is good walking and cycling further inland. From Penzance there are boat trips or helicopter flights to the Isles of Scilly.
As Cornwall is so narrow at this point St Ives with its cobbled streets, small art galleries and the famous Tate Gallery is only a short drive away. For the children a day out at Land's End will provide all the excitement they need, and at Helston you will discover Flambards Leisure Park, full of fantastic rides.
For an unusual evening out why not see a performance at the Minack Theatre? This open-air theatre is set dramatically into the cliffs at Porthcurno and it will be a night to remember.
There is so much to see and do you will need more than a week!

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
