The 'Old Repeater Station' is a large detached stone building with a slate roof near to the most scenic part of Hadrian's Wall. I converted it during 2003/2004 making extensive use of eco / green
technology including geothermal heating

Overview

The 'Old Repeater Station' is well situated for walkers and cyclists being close to the most spectacular section of the Roman Wall which lies between Walltown Crags and Sewingshields Crags and near to Housesteads
Roman Fort. The property stands equidistant between Newcastle-on-Tyne

and Carlisle, 10 miles east of Once Brewed and 6 miles west of Chollerford at the junction of the B6318 Military Road & the minor road leading to Haydon Bridge via Grindon.



There is relatively easy access to Hadrian's Wall via Sewingshields Crags (approx. 1km) which is close to the National Cycle Track routes (C72) in that area.We have five bedrooms with a choice of bunk beds and en-suite twin rooms. Charges range from £20 per person per night for a shared bunk bed room to £30 per person per night for an en-suite room. This includes a full English breakfast or your choice of Continental style breakfast. Block bookings are catered for and a quotation will be given on request. We also provide a licensed bar, cafe facilities, packed lunches, lunch & dinner.



Ideally situated for Walkers and Cyclists due to our close proximity to Hadrian's Wall. Drivers can leave their car here if preferred to visit sites along the Wall. The 'Hadrians Wall Bus Service' which calls at all the main Roman sites passes our front door or alternatively I can drop
you off at a specific location on request.
Enquiries are welcomed from Companies who wish to arrange Workshops and Seminars which could include outdoor pursuits such as walking or cycling.
