Overview
Keepers Cottage is a beautifully converted former gamekeeper's cottage which offers peaceful, luxury accommodation for 4 people. Set in 15 acres of woodland and garden grounds, it offers views of Hadrian's Wall.
The cottage is situated in Northumberland National Park, 5 miles north of Bardon Mill and 17 miles from Hexham. We are just 5 minutes from the most spectacular section of Hadrian's Wall.
The accommodation includes ground floor bedroom with luxury 6 ft wide 4 poster bed and en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. The first floor bedroom also has a 6ft wide double bed (can also be arranged as a twin room), also with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. A cot and high chair can also be provided.
The open plan kitchen/sitting room has a wood-burning stove within a stone fireplace. The television with digital freeview and DVD can be enjoyed from the luxury of leather sofas.
All fuel, electricity, linen and logs for the fire are included in the price. There is a complimentary welcome pack which includes a bottle of wine, local magazines, flowers etc.

For guests with young children, we can provide a travel cot, high chair, stair gates and fire guard.
On the ground floor there is also a large sitting room/ dining area and fully equipped kitchen which includes electric oven, integral dishwasher and fridge/freezer, touch button flush ceramic hob and microwave in solid oak units.
The sitting room has a wood-burning stove within a stone fireplace. The television with digital freeview and DVD can be enjoyed from the luxury of leather sofas.
Fully double glazed, the cottage has oil fired under floor central heating throughout. Electricity, fuel costs and logs are included in the price of your stay, as are the use of quality bedding and towels.
There is ample car parking adjacent to the cottage. The laundry room is fully equipped with two washing machines, tumble dryer, double sink, iron and ironing board and drying facilities.
The cottage sits within extensive gardens and grounds, and offers peaceful luxury accommodation in a rural woodland setting
Bonnyrigg Hall is a 100 acre smallholding that is farmed to organic standards. We keep a small flock of rare breed sheep such as shetlands, hebrideans and jacobs. We also keep a small herd of free-range rare breed tamworth pigs. There is also a variety of free-range poultry, guinea fowl, peacocks etc. Visitors are welcome to walk anywhere around the farm.
All fuel and electricity provided free. All bed linen and towels provided free. Logs for the woodburning stove provided free.
Lettings are generally made from 3pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday, however short break bookings may be made, subject to availability (there is a minimum of 3 nights for which the charge is '195 ).
We are well away from the crowds in a rural and unspoilt area of the Northumberland National Park. The access to the cottage is via a 1 mile private road.
Note: Keepers Cottage is supplied with natural spring water.

- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
