From York follow the A64 towards Scarborough, passing through the traffic lights at Staxton Bank. As you approach the roundabout with the service station on your right, take the second exit off the roundabout. Follow the road passing through Flixton village and Muston village, at the T-Junction turn right signed posted to Bridlington and Filey, at the roundabout take the first exit signed posted for Filey. Come into Filey go over the level crossing, passing a newsagent, then turn left at the roundabout, go to the mini roundabout turn right, then go left at the next T junction. The drive for Shrimpers cottage is on the right with the wooden gates right in front of you
